About Omega-3

What Are Omega-3s

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients that our body needs through our entire life. Our bodies, however, cannot produce them so we need to consume them by eating food rich in omega-3 and/ or by taking dietary supplements.

The three primary omega-3s are:

ALA (alpha-linoeleic acid)
EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid)
DHA (docosahexanoic acid).

EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) have been studied the most and have been found to have numerous health benefits for people of all ages.

ARE THERE ANY SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCES

More than 30,000 published studies are available worldwide on omega-3s and its effect on health and wellness.
